write in another genre
Again and again I have heard that an author should not change the genre or if he should adopt a pseudonym and start all over again. Or he could just change the genre, he is very successful. Another option: do not even write in a genre. Or start as early as possible. I have long known that, for example, Charlotte Link, a highly successful author, writes in all sorts of genres. According to historical novels, she has family sagas, romances, thrillers and psychological thriller written. I just have a interview from the year 2006 found . This all sounds very nice, and it sounds even then, that it is only so successful because she started early (at 16) and then took three years for a book, now 1-2 years. Positive it is determined that they could soon write full time, but more importantly, that everyone, who accompanied them when making books, stood behind her, even when the genre changes ! And that-today-for 25 years.
That is all but no picnic and a stroll on the literary entertainment area, but hard work, as described by Charlotte Link in the interview. I realize even as I present Crime (my genre changes) very different demands than what I've written quite other research. I had the historical novel care for the facts to the ambience and the historical consistency of the characters and the language, there are now quite different questions that come to me. Since the novel is set in my environment, it can be verified for me but also for each other, whether it still exists as the pizzeria, which is described in Tübingen-Derendingen. What's in the restaurants on the table changes, so that one could write a restaurant guide, after a few years would be still valid. Besides the data relating to annual review. But whether the effort is worth? In my dishes come to the restaurant table, it certainly will be there for another ten years later. Or can anyone imagine that there will be no pasta, roast beef with onions or farmer sausages more? If it were so, so there would be only fast food, I write science fiction that is still a genre change with a big jump in the literary future! * G * As I wrote last 5 years more or less historical thrillers, the leap to the presence of crime is of course not too large. This is me familiar with the plot and all that. There are also some historical elements in the crime.
I imagine that I write all my new novel for me, and I do too. No idea if that will interest a publisher or a reader or whether one is a sales success of which promise could. But I like it a hundred percent the way he is and how it is. I have a frame that I built a few months, purely intellectual, which I now fill with everything inside is for me.

Touching My Sister's Breasts
Chinese jade seals from the Forbidden City
asked us a few weeks ago a gentleman in our opinion, a Chinese seal, which had been handed him. As it turned out, it was a very special stamp made of green jade, which was associated with an unusual provenance. It came from the Forbidden City in the Imperial palace in Beijing, and was intended for use by the Empress Dowager Ci Xi (Empress Dowager) were determined.
Since this information requires of course a serious verification, we made our own opinion of the matter. And this was an impressive historical dimension of this seal.
In 1900 came the invasion of a total of eight foreign Powers in Beijing, then the center of the Manchurian Qing dynasty. The comprehensive capture of the capital of the Chinese empire was a high point in a dramatic transformation, which is associated with the name "Boxer Rebellion". That it came time for extravagant, reckless and widespread looting of art and cultural goods is well known. Some detail the issue HERE is treated.
The seal of green jade came into the hands of a Prussian naval officer and surgeon, remained after 1900 a few years in the region between Beijing and Jiaozhou. This doctor is the grandfather of current owner. It is assumed that he had received it as compensation or as a thank you for his service as a doctor and that he himself was not aware of where it came from. Anyone with looting of cultural property in Beijing in 1900 deals that can confirm that during the relevant period, numerous objects from the imperial city disappeared. In the literature there are reports that even tunnels have been dug under the walls, to organize regular, taking place at night "booty" tours.
Which way, however, took this seal, 1900-2011? How is it that today, or not until today, appears once again?
to these issues can be found a wealth of material which was collected by the present owners. These include letters of the former Navy doctor, and documentation of a museum of East Germany - it is not just the story of a cultural object which came from the center of the former Chinese empire out and was taken to the West, but at the same time it is also a German- German history, which throws a spotlight on the treatment of cultural goods and the issue of property claims after the Fall. Moreover, it is
a story of extremes in the international art trade. For now, the seal will go on sale and find his way back to China. Whether in the hands a private collector arrives or if there will ever be seen in a museum for the public, we do not know. In any case, it is now a well-traveled cultural property that has undergone more than a century in Europe. This background makes the seal of a lot more exciting than the fact that it had been made for the Empress Dowager. Of course, it is important that this information and existing documents are not lost on the sale.
us for the story itself is simply a piece of passion. Finally, we know the historical dimension of such an object - and this is not least one of the reasons why there are Asian-Ankauf.de.

writing - as exciting as life
via a Google inquiry in my blog I came across a thread in the public area of the Montsegur-author forum. It was in 2006, and it was about the tiresome, exhausting waiting to find a publisher or an agency. For me it was the very first beginnings of an agency. At three agencies, I had sent Exposé and reading test. One responded immediately and offered the same for my MS rororo to (at this agency have I still do). The second agency said around the time of the third. The second wanted 300 euros have postage money, said the third after three months. But even with
agency I was not immune to the waiting, and after the fifth novel I can not be sure if my next manuscript is also somewhere. I allow myself sometimes, even to me quote a sentence I've released five years ago on the experienced and inexperienced writers.
"... someone has the time compared to a marathon
It could also be a his never-ending story, one in which there are always new, inexpensive student turns. And if you are on target, starts the next run from the beginning. As exciting as life. "
